01What appears in public WHOIS?
The registrar's privacy proxy: nokycvps Customer / PO Box 1 / Charlestown / Saint Kitts & Nevis. The registrant email is a pseudonymous d{order_id}@nokycvps.com we maintain. Nothing about you reaches the WHOIS record.
02Who's the upstream registrar?
Internet.bs (Bahamas-based, ICANN-accredited since 2004). They handle the registry plumbing; we handle the privacy layer in front. Same upstream as our sister site servprivate.com.
03Can I transfer out later?
Yes — anytime, no fee. Request an EPP/auth code from your dashboard and initiate transfer at any ICANN-accredited registrar. The 60-day post-registration lock is an ICANN rule we don't control.
04Why is .com $9.99 — what's the catch?
No catch, but it is a loss leader: we're below wholesale on .com to bring people in. The renewal price stays $9.99 too — we don't recoup it by jacking up year two. Other TLDs (.io at $24.99, .ai at $84.99, .tech at $9.99) carry the margin.
